Smooth and sculpted sheet metal wraps the four-door 2017 Chrysler Pacifica in a modern form, aerodynamically sound yet attractive and slightly futuristic. The front fascia of the Pacifica mirrors that of the Chrysler 200 sedan, a dipping grille that flows smoothly up to blend with headlamps assemblies. While the grille features bright trim, both bright and body-colour is used across the exterior.
The raked windshield aids in lowering wind resistance, while offering plenty of visibility. Along the curving side glass, the track for the sliding doors is tucked smartly underneath the rear windows so it isn't obvious.
Numerous class-exclusive features are standard or optional, including the only three-row sunroof on any van. A hands-free, foot-activated power liftgate and button-activated dual sliding doors mean that you don't have to take it out of your pocket to access your vehicle.
Innovation and design continues inside the eight passenger 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. It is all based around Chrysler Stow 'N Go seating and storage systems that allows for dozens of configurations. With bins set into the floor, seating can be folded in to create a flat space with room for full-size sheets of plywood. The system also allows easy entrance and exit, as the second-row seats can be shifted and tilted for access. Passengers are surrounded by soft-touch materials and bright chrome accent trim, as well as a two-tone interior colour scheme.
Convenience is of major importance to minivan users, and comes in a number of forms, including the Stow 'N Vac RIDGID vacuum, 12-volt and 120-volt outlets for powering and charging tools and media, and plenty of cupholders. Chrysler's Uconnect media centres provide powerful options, with every version including Bluetooth streaming audio, Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, a media hub with USB and auxiliary audio inputs, and a 5.0- or 8.4-inch touch screen set in the centre stack. Siri Eyes Free and enhanced 3D navigation are both available options. Add the Uconnect Theatre with dual 10-inch monitors so that your backseat passengers are entertained.

While so much of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is new and innovative, what is underneath the hood is not.
